Tickford wheels

How much would you expect to pay for a set of Tickford 17'' wheels including centre caps in good nick?
Reason i ask is because my XR6 has 16's on it atm and I spotted some 17's recently. It's just a thought that it might be a good idea to have the proper wheels one day in the future for originality's sake.

Series II. these are in really good nick but no tyres and they want $800 which I figured was a bit steep thats why i asked on here. Knew someone would know. Cheers for the help guys.

Depends on condition of the rims and rubber. I sold a set a while ago for $600 and the tyres were approx 60-80% (Rims had a few decent marks on them). I also have another set now just collecting dust and they are in better nick with better quality tyres but again i would hope for only $600 (when i get around to advertising them).

i bought a second set because i reckon they are an awesome looking rim.

You can get brand new s2 knockoffs for 1k or 1100 with tyres if ur in that bracket .. definitely not worth 800

i bought mine for 250. they were fairly rashed but they tyres were good... so i stripped them back and painted them black

These same ones cost me 8grand-had a series 2 fairmont to go with them.

in that case mine were 35,000 with a free 01 series 2 fairmont on the side parents bought the thing new

as for the wheels ive seen some go for 300 (tyreless) and others for 600 (with 50% tread roughly)

When I get sets of those, I usually sell them for between $400 and $600, depending on tyres.

Are we talking a set of "5" or "4" ?.
$800 with no tyres is a bit step yeah.

there was a set of four brand newies on ebay recently for $600, with centre caps. The bloke had a couple of sets. I almost bought a set, though found an as new set of four as new bf xr8 18's with two great tyres for $800.

Only a set of four but they were in really good nick and included centre caps but yeah a bit steep for second hand hey. Like the idea of brand newies like the ones that wheel king have but bloody expensive.

Offer him $600 cash mate, if you can, worth a try, or if your willing to go $700 and he's willing, depending on your situation $$$ wise, if your happy with them and he's happy with a price, both parties are happy, don't worry what people on here say you should have paid, aslong as your happy.

Yeah mate, Just trying to get and idea of what they're worth. I spose it could depend a bit on where you are located too. Don't know how many decent sets would come up for sale here in S.A. so maybe a bit of a price difference to say the eastern states.If theres more around over there they may be cheaper than here hey. I certainly appreciate everyones input.
