By the end of this year there will be a lovely piece of equipment available called liquid LPG injection kits(not to be confused with vapour injection). These kits in stock form will have 10% more power than high RON petrol vehicles in stock form, bwahahahahahahahah. No longer will we be taking shiit from petrol users (Gas is for BBQ's) in fact we will be laughing at them.

: These systems will go for 2000-2500G's and will be easier to install than conventional LPG systems. No more LPG= power loss as it is today.

These will be suitable for stock, turbo and supercharged engines and they will perform very well. They have been tested sucessfully on 4cyl, 6cyl engines through to V16's.

Eg. 4 cyl engine with LCU and ECU.

do we know who will be offering these gas injection kits as i have the fairlane almost ready for gas convo all i need is the under bonnet kit and this seems alot better

if you already have a lpg system in place are you saying it will cost $2000 $2500 to replace the system or thats for the entire thing going into a car that just has petrol??? if so what we looking at for lpg users already?

SVI at the moment is around $3500 fully installed.

I got quoted $2400 fully fitted for SVI in my ute, because I'm already running gas.

Going on that way of thinking, does that mean i can have direct injected gas for between $1100-$1600???

you would need the underbonnet kit 100%, but who knows what other crap you need. im guessing you can still use gas tank and lines but dont know about anything else

I doubt it unfortunately. To keep the LPG 100% liquid (no vapour or occasional lean out & fuel starvation will occur) & under a constant pressure (so the same injector pulse width always delivers the same amount of fuel), most designers have had to install a pump & return line system. This means a pump & return line in the tank ie. special tank. Your traditional tank feeds liquid, sure, but not at a constant pressure. The pressure each day will be different due to temperature etc..

I do see a return line for the system in the first post & i also see a fuel pump at (in?) the tank.
