i finaly got out to willowbank for a run last night, after fitting the pacey 4480 and a 3 inch cat (thanks stav).i havn't had a chance to get the car retuned yet but its running ok so i decided to go for a run.
i had 4 runs and the results are 60ty......ET........MPH 2.166....14.972...93.69 2.462....15.729...92.5 2.118.....14873...94.90 1.978.....14.689..93.95 the temp was 19c and the track temp was 29c not bad conditions at all for this time of year up here. well i can say i'm pleased with the results ,its good to see the mph is back up there.it will be good to see what it'l do with a retune and some cool winter weather. i must say the pacies have given me more top end.even with the cam advanced 5 degrees it still pulls hard to redline .i think this gnd cam maybe a bit to big for the stock rpm limmit.with the headers and cat it feels a bit doughy to about 3000rpm and then takes off where as with the old lukey's it pulled from 2400rpm.not that i'm complaining though you have to feel the rush when the bbm opens up and the rearends struggling for traction. catch yas jake |
