Boge shocks - whats the status?

Hey people,

Its time for me to replace my shocks all around as the ride quality is shizer! i dont expect the fairmont ride quality that i used to have considering SL fronts and SSL rear, with 245/40/18. But i can feel the 'jar' that comes from each tiny pebble i drive over and its finally made me crack.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with boge shocks, and if you can get a true 'shortened' shock (not just xr height like the sensatracs). pedders sports ryders are just way to xpensive ($800 supplied! - PFFFT!) boges are around the $500 mark.

any advice would be much appreciated
