Clear side indicators

Just a couple of quick questions.... but firstly I have an '04 2door LR Zetec and have been meaning to start some mod's for it for a couple of months now. I've been scanning through this forum (which is a great source of info for any Focus fan out there) and I've decided the best place to start would be replacing the stock side indicators. But, I've noticed that the new FG Falcon has gone to an amazingly similar shape/style clear side indicator (well as far as I can tell) on all its variants. So I was wondering if any one can clarify for me if this is the case... and whether it would be worth using them (the FG's) instead of a ST170 or the like indicator
