Default quick question

hey guys just need a little advise for a mate.

A few days ago my mate bought an au xr8 ute 5spd with all the trimmings.

but the guy who sold it to him was a little funny and so was the price.

we checked the car to see if its been in a accident but all looks well.

what my mate wants to know are there any other serial numbers on them appart from the engine and vin numbers on the body which he can have looked at to see if its been tamperd with?

He fears that if the can was a stolen one he would get into trouble as the can has come from sydney.

At the monment he is triyng to get in contact with the previos owner but can't acces him on the mob he was given.

An help would be much appreciated.
