Default Difference between EA GL '90 and Fairmont SPV '91

Ok so I have a EA GL '90 sitting in the paddock with 406,000km on it and still going strong, which I am considering fixing up and making road worthy, however it would need a manual conversion (I'm picky and the auto trans in it is near rooted anyway) and new chassis/panels, plus new head gasket, spark plugs, and god knows what else once I got into it.

Meanwhile, a Fairmont SPV '91 with 275,000km on it has just been listed at a seemingly steal ($1750) on an auction site I watch. From what I can gather it is the same engine and very similar body to the EA I have sitting in the paddock, but I was hoping that someone could enlighten me to the differences between these two models?

Cheers,
Michael
