Default BTR 4 speed Auto .. things that can be done

hmm... my bro just converted from 4 speed auto to 5 speed manual in his EL xr6... now i've got his BTR 4 speed auto....

what can i get done to it... maybe strangthen it ? can i get stronger 'bands' ?

mm shiftkit would set me back .. but wouldn't it be minus $400(generally?) labour if i just hand the box in.. cause other then pulling the box apart there isn't much labour.. compared to pulling it out of a car and putting it back in...

and get a 2500rpm stallie converter(yes, i know.. i know.. all depends on where your power is.. or torque or whatever...) .. but 2500rpm stallie is what _I_ want ;)

any other ideas?

phanks
