Ok , so these aren't the best pictures in the world, but i was around a mates house earlier this morning and he had a cheap camera sitting there saying "use me" ! .. so he snapped a quick few pic for me , nothing glamerous - but at least u can have a look now sorta anyway ...
As the pictures show ....... My very stock standard AUII XR6 VCT (build date 2000) .. p.s , excuse the dodgy blacking out of my number plates / 2 minute job with ms paint . |

Neat car. Keeping it stock or modify with exhaust & inlet
If you are going to add any mods do a dyno to find what gains are being made from stock. I didn't so I'am only guessing mine would have been between 110-115rwk. |

Nice and clean ... I like.
Just a few simple mods will gain good power/torque figures .... just for a nice little boost in performance.

Probably one of the best first mods to do if you prefer a good handling car ... upgrading suspension is a performance modification as it allows quicker cornering without the roll ... and better handling performance all-round.

hmmmmmm , i dunno weather to get the original springs in it now resized&retentioned or weather just to get new springs , is around even price wise anyway, but i do remember in the past getting some springs re-tentioning & resized and they came out great , 'really' good stiffness and handling better than some of the top brand lowered springs i had bought previouslly to replace the old 1's i got modded. Only thing was cos they dont cut the spring to lower it , they heat it and compress it , so the coils of the spring are closer to each other ( like ya spring was 2/8 th compressed ) , resulting in the springs bottoming out easilly if going to low , but they were great. These springs now seem very stiff and nice and i wouldnt mind a tadd more stiffness for handling , which the above would do . Mainlly i just want it for looks anyways / i like it better like that / feels more like driving a go-cart ..lol .

Nice ride XR6-VCT-2000. You are on the right forum (but wrong thread!) to show us pics of your AUXR6! Still, in my opinion, one of the best looking cars on the road! Although mine is silver, the black ones are just divine to look at!
If your after info on mods for your standard ride, you will find the best advice on this forum, no question. Where do you want to start? |
