Today i discoverd my lock nut has been sitting in this (pic Below) spot for two weeks proving i'm no hoon

lol something like that happened to me. the little part that clamps the radiator to the top of the rad support fell down where the battery is couldnt find it drove around for a week and discovered it there today. same thing happened with a bit of sandpaper too lol its always good to discover its still there lol

Lol something like that happened to me. The oil cap came off (I don't know how!) and I looked for it everywhere. What do you know, as soon as I buy a new one I found it near the plenum. I could of bought a 6 pack of beer instead of that oil cap.

was putting the car bra on my fairlane to do a night time country trip, and sitting in the bottom of my bumper was a screwdriver i'd misplaced months ago...bwahaha
how that didnt fall out ive got no idea |

I was replacing a battery once, left the spanner on the nut(god knows how or why) for a 500km drive. Only realised because I checked the oil for the return trip.

Found a socket, an extension and a spanner all sitting in the side of my engine bay a couple of weeks ago. Lucky Craig at ACE saw them sitting there.

I left a gasket scraper sitting on top of my intake manifold without realizing went for a test drive got back wondered where the hell i put it found it later that arvo still sitting on top of the intake manifold. I couldnt stop laughing.

i know all about holdens most of my cars have been commos and theres always tools out fixing the bloody things cause they kept breaking down on me but no trouble at all with my ford hardly ever have to break out the tools unless i want to improve something

when i blew one of my front globes i put it on the battery and forgot about it couple of weeks later i opened the bonnet to find it still there.

i left a socket on the outside of the engine bay when we put the superlows in and a copper found it when he did a roadworthy...
"did you lose a 13mm (or whatever size it was) socket? umm, yeah a while ago, whys that? i found it under your car.. then we ****ed ourselves laughing and i passed roadie aswell....

one time i changed a headlight globe in my EA, and forgot to put the cover back over the socket, then about 2 weeks later i found it sitting down near the engine mount, and i hadn't got a new one either so it was all good.
