Not sure what model but the 8 placed on top of the V. Not a stick on type but pinned, otherwise a trip out to Rare Spares.

Been looking a long time for a Cummins 903 but they are like rocking horse sh*t to find.

Lamentably, I have had no success on the badge hunt so far... I did see a '56 pickup grille with a big V8 in the centre... Not sure that will cut the mustard though.

I took a photo n uploaded it to the gallery, but be buggered if I can attach it to the post.

This is a badge I spotted on eBay years ago, just loved the look of it.
At the time I didn't know what it was from, but knew it was going into my display cabinet.
Off a 64 Plymouth Barracuda.

Marine? I know what you mean, but with boats the water is the muff dog. My boat, flushing it on the trailer, it sounds like anus, loud as crap but kinda an improvement on the v6 commodore game. Yeah it's a v6 but a 4.3L. In the water it sounds way less and better. Being a 2003, no cats or anything like that. Its factory and has a sticker to say it was california legal emmissions when new, makes zero sense as it was make in victoria but i guess that was just a thing for the rebadged vortec chev v6 thats in it.

My 20yo daughter just bought a new car today, that’s not exceptional on its own, but the way this young woman did all the research, spent an hour each night discussing with her old man her findings, what’s good, what’s not, the dealer process, the ins and outs of finance etc.
After I went to a dealer with her to shake down the sales guy, she returned on her own to get her trade on appraised. We went back and negotiated a deal. She signed her first contract, this car is solely in her name. Mum and dad are very proud

Well, she works in the beauty industry and is super image conscious, wanted a Benz CLA. So I bought her down to earth with a car that LOOKS like a cla from temu………An MG5 Essence. Ended up with $5k off a promo price, she’s never seen the old man in full negotiation mode, it was glorious.
Yes, I’m aware it’s built by the same people responsible for my LDV, but it has 10year warranty. It will be a good 5 year car for her. She’s already ordered aftermarket wheels and organised ceramic coating.

Had my first ever acupuncture treatment yesterday. Can't believe the difference in my body this morning. It usually takes me a good half hour to an hour to get my body into some semblance of being able to do anything in the morning but this morning I got up and felt like an entirely different person. Everything worked as it should, but hasn't done so for many years. I've booked in for another treatment in 2 weeks.

Today a 71yo woman, on one of our local "for sale" pages on FB, put up a vid. of a little dresser she wanted to be rid of..... the vid, continued on after that. I wont go into detail, but it involved some self pleasuring activities!....... a lot of people saw it, before being taken down!......... be careful out there! (:

Default Re: What made you feel good today?

So I finally got justice, if you can call it that, for my brother in Court today.
He is in his 60's with Downes Syndrome, partially deaf and dementia in a care home with 3 others.
I had my suspicions about not being looked after properly, and the clincher was when he "fell out of bed", a contusion on his forehead and 2 big black eyes.
So I did my legal research and planted a listening device in his room.

Within 24 hours caught someone screaming abuse at him because he urinated on the floor in the middle of the night.
You could clearly hear him getting a smack to the head, he called out in pain, then can hear the carer screaming at him to get up off the bed and grabbed him by the arms and pulled him off the bed, again calling out in pain, has arthritis in his hands and knees.
Gave the tape to Police, they interviewed the carer a couple of days later. She made full admissions to Police who charged her with aggravated common assault by 2. She was also instantly dismissed by the company.

Today, finally, after 2 remands, she put her hand up.
Got a **** weak fine and a spent conviction, WTF.
Impact statement from the family on brothers behalf not even handed to Magistrate by prosecutor and no objection to spent conviction.
So potentially could work in the field again, but we have informed NDIS Commission so hopefully she is black listed.
This is a very vulnerable person, who can't communicate and relied on this person to provide care and support.
Anyway, done now, finally got some sort of justice for the poor bugger, as if lifes not tough enough for him.

So if you have family in care, monitor them and listen to their complaints.
