What do you use on your wheels? I've tried all of the OTC stuff and, strangely enough, Armor All and a wheel brush is what has worked best for me.

Pretty much the same as you - soapy water and a cloth or wheel brush. In other words, nothing special. The DBA/EBC brake dust isn't too hard to get off...there is just lots of it when going through the bedding in process. |

Looks brown almost, i hadn't washed my car or wheels for a few weeks until yesterday, and they were shocking, mine are black on the insides.
I had some "non acidic" spray for wheels, didn't really do anything, soapy water from the high pressure washer did most of the work.

Clocked 10000 in the Focus. I like watching the old cars klms go up and up,but hate seeing our first new car's one go up.

I just clocked 20,000kms in the Focus tonight. 20,000kms of well worth driving.
![]() I've been thinking of powder coating my rims, but I just can't fully convince myself - I have a white titanium, so it'd look perfecto!

Had RH and LH Rear Wheel Bearings replaced along with rear Brake Pads. 118K and nearly 10 years out of them so I'm not complaining. LH Rear bearing was shot to pieces too.

Fitted some LED globes to the front and rear blinkers to get rid of the amber reflection. Also replaced the stop/tail globes with LED's
![]() ![]() BRAKE LIGHTS: ![]() Managed to get both the lights to work. ![]() No amber look: ![]()

That looks like a really nice one Russ.
I did this on thursday, didn't turn out too bad at all, anyone know how to get the front grills out so I can do them as well. The top one looks like I just have to undo those stupid push in screws, but the lower one I have no idea. ![]()

Righto, so the locking stuff just clips and pulls out, retracts into it self (handy)
I can't for the life of me find what's clipping it in place besides the push screws on top, there is some clips, but they seem to be for the actual bumper and I can't see anything around that because it just blocks everything. Any ideas? I may have used a bit too much force and snapped one of the things D: can't tell so going to glue it up before painting and sand it back.

Does anyone know how to get to the light in the glovebox ? (focus lw), i like to change it to one with more light. i have undo 2 torx screws but no idea where to go next.
btw saw some brembo 4 pot front brake kits for the focus lw, not sure if they will clear 17'' wheels. |
