havent read the entire thread so dnt know if this has been thrown out there yet,, but have u checked ur gearbox and engine mounts? if u car is vibrating bad at those rpms id give them a look,,,

Mine sees the 5thou maybe once a week.
Never redlined it. Even though they can prob take a flogging. It's not worth it!
