Hi All,
I'm currently removing a Redback exhaust from an EL sedan that I'm wrecking. I know how to remove it, but the whole exhaust is 1 piece from the cat to the tail pipe, so just wondering where I am best to cut it, so I can get it out? I only ask, as I want to cut it in the best place for it to be welded again once it's fitted to my EF. Thanks, Justin. |

if there is a resonator cut it where that joins into the pipe, try and find some 1mm grinder discs they work a treat and come in handy in many situations.

Why do you need to cut it? I'd leave it in one piece and unbolt it.

When you say that, are you saying jack up the body, not the diff? Have you managed to get an exhaust out this way? |

best place to cut it would be before the diff. Unless you can get it on a hoist or feel like dropping the diff then you will have to cut it.

Undo drivers side rear shocker jack body right up and you will be able to manouvere the complete system out.

I think I'll at least try removing it in one piece, but my gut feeling is that I'll be attacking it with the angle grinder! |
