ok well i have made up my mind finally and decided to go with a el engine conversion!
i can get an engine with roughly 200ks on it, idles pretty good what other things do i need to make it run properly like ecu, different gearbox, different diff, thermo fans anything else? |

Um I don't think you would need Anything else exept wiring loom and that is the engine complete?

yeah i get the engine, wiring loom, steering box, all the belts and stuff, fuel injection but i dont get the thermos, the airbox or the gearbox or the ecu

Do you want to run the BBM or just get a newer engine? 200,000kms isnt really that great.
Use the ED gearbox, tailshaft and diff and just change the motor.

i just wanted a new engine with less ks then mine, cause mine has 300ks on the clock, so its just a simple swap over?

Cant you buy Ba engines for pretty cheap as well these days, or would the EL one be easier to install ect...

EL engine is going to be about $4000 cheaper to get going.
If you are just after a lower K motor, you can just use your manifolds and accesories on an EL motor with a balancer swap. Or buy an XH tensioner and EL accessories so you can run the serpentine setup with the ED manifold. You will need thermos either way I think. You shouldnt need to change any wiring or make things hard for yourself.
