I'll do it for $4500 per year. Just PM me if you're interested - oh, and that will be no drivers under 25.

Seems insurance companies pick a number out of the air.

Some guys in late 20's are insuring their FPV's for around $1,200 yet I'm 45 and paying close on $2 grand.

Depends on:

Where you live, (NSW is way higher than QLD and Vic)

Type of car (XR6T's & 8's /Tickfords and FPV's are gonna be way higher than standard Forte's and XT's),

Your age...some may not insure you if you have anythiong other than a stock 6 cyl and are under 25

Driving history..(seems you'd be lacking there)

Whether its under finance

You need to do a ring around...Good luck

umm.. well thats the point of having insurance?? if you crash they won't pay you anything.... i'd be calling them asap to tell them...

and also to everyone else... you need to look at excess costs as well as premiums... one place might cost less in premiums.. but the excess might be huge....

You mean rapt. That sounds pretty reasonable for the combo of you and your car. I'm paying about half that for our explorer, and I've been driving longer than you've been alive!!!

if you got run into... why did you have to pay?... she hit you. it's her fault....

unless you were unlicenced or something... must be more to it... ??

i been looking around places.. see if i can get a better deal... but so far suncorp is the best i can find... only problem is i need a new exhaust.. mine has holes in it.. but they reckon if i get an aftermarket system.. my excess doubles.. (coz of other mods i already have).. and their reasoning is that aftermarket parts cost more.. even tho i'm sure an exhaust from ford would be much more expensive....
