Default One for fans of the old Sierra "Space Quest" games...

If you remember the old Space Quest games (or Police Quest or Kings Quest, and so on...) you might enjoy this one:
"Space Quest 0: Replicated!" (699k, works perfectly under Windows XP on any PC)
For a laugh, watch what happens if you type in the f word a few times :hihi:

There is also Vonster's "Space Quest, The lost Chapter." (807K, and should work on any PC, but doesn't appear to work on mine for some reason :( )

Have fun!

OMG – SIERRA

You have no idea how much I loved Sierra games when I was a kid. I had the entire Kings Quest series and my brother and I had mastered nearly all of them. Sir Graham rocked!

Remember how good we thought the graphics were back then.
My brother used to type in swear words and then we would laugh at the messages that came back -

> get f**ked

> Sir Graham does not know how to get f**ked

So much fun!

Love the link – I know I will waste my time playing this.

I have Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel, and Leisure Suit Larry 1.
LOVE Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, so very very wrong.

One of the creators behind a lot of these games, Al Lowe, has some inside info and stuff on the games he was involved in on his site:
allowe.com

AND you can download the theme from Larry 1!!! I used to have it as the ringtone on my phone!

I loved the sierra games back in the day, and remember being absolutely blown away by the graphics in Space Quest IV!

What you said reminds me of something from when I first played Police Quest 1, there is a part where you stop a female driver who is speeding. I had no idea what to do, I had already tried shoot her and that hadn't done any good, so I typed in "Blow her up". Keep in mind I was still in primary school at the time. I was suprised when her response to that was "she pretends to be offended, but smiles (or words to that effect)" and gave me a phone number. I then called the phone number and got fired. Game over.

The Monkey Island and other Lucasart games were fun too.

Brilliant work guys, brilliant!!!!!

Kings quest, police quest, space quest, lesuire suit larry - all awesome games. Back when it wasnt all graphics and sound. Rocking it on the 8086 (yep - incredible 12mhz performance in full 4-colour CGA graphics off of a 360k floppy disk).

*4.9 EF chokes when realising what an old man he sounds like*

Thanks for the memories guys!!
