Hi all.
I'm lookind at converting my AU3 XR8 from auto to manual.....Do I need to change the tailshaft??? Thanks. Doug. |

From memory the auto shaft is longer... it could be the other wy around but they're def not the same

Why do you wan't to change power ? I think tail shaft for manual is longer.
If you do change put new bearings for front and rear universals also replace diff oil check for diff noise. If your in Melb try FTG Auto Salvage for parts and enquires. |

Auto shaft is 100 odd mm too long. Manual shaft is shorter than the Auto shaft.
