I got the short shifter assembly and gear stick from Mal Wood Automotive, it was $295 including delivered and it's way better than standard. Tibbo got the Rip Shifter that costs $499 and his is far better than mine in the same way that a lamborgini is way better than a lada niva!

I've just got a shortened lever atm, done by JMM. It's better than the broomstick but i'll be investing in a rip shifter soon to get the changes even closer.

I've got a shortened BPT shifter... 2349235x better then standard.
However if your going to spend $400 on a shifter, I'd save a bit more coin and got a rip shifter. |

that ebay one looks like a no name. I'm always suss on ad's where they can't spell basic words like "Warranty". Look in Street Machine or Street Fords and they are always advertising way better shifters than that crap.

from what BI6TIM told me today, i would be spending the extra $$$ and getting the rip shifter... i have a short shifter, i had one in the 2nd hand box i bought, and then Mal Wood put in a new one when i got a new box...
plus i also have a shortened gearstick

Yes it does and it makes changing to third effortless. before you even think about moving the stick across you're already there. It's awesome.

yeah i hacked 3cm at first then i took off another 2cm so the bottom of the gear knob is about a cm above the gear shift panel. looks sweet never driven it like that though, planning on getting a rip shifter soon. there a bit expensive though.
