Default EA CFI to mpfi install

Hi all,

Im from the gold coast, I own a 88 EA Falcon which has a 3.9L CFI Engine. On Ebay there's afew MPFI engine's selling with low K's and a good price, so wat I'm asking is there anyone in the Gold Coast or Brisbane that can install this conversion? (im thinking its a whole day job?) I really want this done....the old engine can be kept by you if wanted for parts etc, so wat price im i looking at for this....im hoping its not too much. (the 3 speed auto gear box sould be alright for this conversion, i've been told.

You can convert to MPFI without changing engines. Just put the new multipoint injection gear onto your existing engine.

A wrecker is your best bet, should cost you on average about $150 or less for the parts you need. As said before, the CFI and MPFI motors are the same, it's just the injection that's different. Peform a search on "MPFI conversion" and you will find a heap of info on what parts are required and exactly how to do it...
