Ive wanted to fit a AUIII XR8 cover onto my EL XR8 and just wanted to know if its possible to do so.
1) Is The actual cover a 1 or 2 piece? 2) Will it fit straight on or does it need some modifying? 3) What is the RRP? 4) If i please could obtain the part number to this item would be really appreciated! Cheers once again........

You will have to make up your own mounting brackets or modify yours as the e-series ones are in a diffrent position to the au ones. As for a price id say $250 seems decent far as im aware the cover is 1 piece not 100% sure

It's a 1 piece cover.
I believe it'll need a fair bit of modifying. I've only quickly dummied mine up, but the front hits the fans. This is in an NC, but I can't see an EL being much different. Shouldn't cost more than $100-$150 depending on condition. I think I paid about $120. |

the el's dont have the fans as per the early eb series cars.
i have fitted mine it requires some simple brackets really. it just has to acurate to ensure the cover will stay on. my only issue has been the bonnet has rubbed on the cover 3 times on different spots. the part connected to the throttle body stops it from sitting flush like it would on the au series.
