Hey guys, just got the boot lid carpet from a mont. Brand new. Just wondering if any one can post pics (of the lug/whatever) of what they used to fix it to the lid.
(In melb at the mo so want to pick up what I need before I return to my one horse town.) Cheers in advance guys Ray Even a link, dimensions Picking carpet up in the next hour, so a ruff qty of the animals would also be helpful |

11. Same sort of thing as what holds the side carpets in your boot in place but the head is around the size of a 20 cent piece.
They are 20mm across the head, the finned part is 20mm long, total length 25mm, width of the finned section is 6mm Last edited by stockoau; 09-02-2008 at 02:14 PM. |

Just pull out one of the ones that hold in the side carpet in the boot. they are the same things but the size I mentioned. You should be able to get them from supercheap or the like for a lot less then Ford thinks they are worth.

Ray theyre called Christmas Tree Clips and any good auto store should have them.

How much would one of these carpets go for second hand? Or new?

I went to get 2 from Ford once and they thought they were worth dollars each, when they should be about 20 cents each. Don't buy from Ford, is the moral of the story.

I paid #35 for mine thru Ford, and if you go to your local panel beaters, and ask to buy some clips to fit them it will be a much cheaper way than going to Ford or Super Cheap or whatnot.
