Im going to change the pads and rotors tomorrow for my AUII Forte. Im going to get Benidx Ultra Premium pads, but I am not sure which rotors to get. What the difference between slotted and standard rotors?
Im tossing up between DBA and RDA - which one should I go for? Cheers |

Standard rotors are usually of a lower quality for a start, and ive found that they tend to warp easily,
![]() So spend the little extra and go the slotted, you will notice the differance no matter which brand you choose. ![]() Though ive had a good run out of the DBA :eclipsee_ Cheers

Slotted rotors are said to be better for clearing away the brake dust. I'd certainly go slotteds. I personally use RDA gear and have found it to be very good.
If you do buy them, they'll be cheaper than DBA gear, you'll need to paint the "hat" of the disc before fitting. This is good, as it allows you the choice of colour in painting. Some guys colour code them to the car, I just went for the grey colour myself. Each to their own though! A good opportunity to paint your calipers also I'd reckon. I went red, but many guys here like to paint them a Ford blue, or even colour code them also. De-rusting and painting rotors http://www.fordforums.com.au/showpos...2&postcount=68 * Note - the derusting will need to be done on RDA gear if you put them on without painting them. LOL! I found out the hard way. Cheers, GK
