Default Convertible Focus

Hi, was wondering if anyone out there owns automatic 2007 or 2008 convertible Focus and if they have experienced any problems.

I was looking to trade in the 2006 LS but after talking to a local Ford salesman who stated that Ford will be bringing over a new convertible when they release the new shape so i might be better off waiting for that as the current models either sell really quickly or sit on the lot for ages depending where they are located........... any ideas???????

Ford will release a new Focus convertible. Expect it to have the same hardtop folding roof, but I think Ford will make it a bit more simple as the current one was not as greatly received in Europe as Ford expected. Keep in mind the convertible is likely to follow the sedan/hatch by about 6 months to a year, and the Australian launch for the Focus III is not till late 2011 till early 2012. Long time to wait, meanwhile you could snag some great deals on the current one. It's a good car, just a little too heavy (aren't all convertibles) and the styling has its critics. Hope this helped
