Happy Australia day to all. Beaut day here in the Northern suburbs of Perth. Sunny and high 20's is a nice change from high 30's and early 40's of last week.
Dusted off the TD Cortina for todays duties, its a rolling car show out on the coast road at the moment, no matter what brand you're driving theres always a wave from the fellow steel bumpers and pedestrians alike.
Lots of BBQ's happening in the parks and houses, happy people everywhere walking, riding, swimming and accepting each other.
We'll be walking to the Marina later for a couple of beers, fish 'n' chips and sunset over the Indian ocean.
Couldn't be happier with where I call home.

I noticed more people than last year with Australian flags at the 21 gun salute conducted at the Shrine of Remembrance. Good but we need much more. See you there in 2026.

Probably pushed himself to the front of the boat so he could be first ashore to go looking for the nearest cake shop... :-)

I am really glad that appreciation for Australia is growing again
Every country has its past, but Australia is a country that offers opportunity, equality, safety, healthcare, education, and world-class food and water.

We're damn fortunate to live here, and I hope everybody continues to appreciate that fact.
Let's make things better and move forward, together.

I’m over the BS, this is OUR day to Celebrate OUR country and OUR freedom.

The annual BS Brigade are wearing thin on most Australians.

Spotted a rent a crowd walking up from Pyrmont this morning flying flags and noisy enough for us to look up, we both looked at each other and said, geeze, what are they protesting about now.

Its that common now every weekend in cities.

Turns out it was a Japanese tour with the guides holding large flags so the rest of the highly confused groups could follow.

Could be forgiven for thinking it was an attempt at Japan trying to give the locals cause to believe it was an invasion!

Or join the organised marches with your Australian flag on a flag pole proudly on display.
