I have a 1995 EF. The motor is starting to use a bit of oil now and so i am looking at 2 options,
1. Remove the motor, rebiuld 20.thou oversize and refit. Approx $700 2. Remove the motor and fit an AU motor. Approx $ :alien2: What do you think i should do?

Rebuild fits in so much easier, better what you know then what you dont, and matching engine and chassis numbers make it easier to sell a car IMO.

Au motors are better though with better heads and rod/stroke ratio... plenty still around with lowish-mid kays, just some food for thought.

It really depends on what you want to do with the car.
Putting the AU motor into the car ISNT going to make it alot quicker. IMO id go option 1 as you can then still get cams, etc quite cheap
