Bit too riceish.
10,000rpm on the tacho!! the 4.0l will never see that, lol

Id have mounted them in a line on the dash, or down near the deck. Would keep it a bit more stealthy.

TuMor, you are a gun. Thanx for the approval.
Is that the space shuttle or a falcon ?!?!?
Dash is way to cluttered, first PLOD to see that will give you a nice yellow sticker to go with that nice green, white and blue.
But good to see dudes with the mod bug.

Functional but yeah - a little bit too "out there" for my liking. Lol, not that I can talk... the SA guys have seen my ricer setup.

Centre console is not a bad place to mount gauges but IMO no good for boost/stoich as you need them near your field of vision. Ive got the oil pressure gauge mounted down there as I dont tend to look at that as much as boost.

What fuel pressure gauge you running? Electronic ones cost an absolute fortune!!!

its a shame you guys dont like em... they look much better in person. im' not really concerned with the stealth appeal as the car isnt being built to see the road that often. they are all in good view for racing which is what its being built for. each to there own though. Cheers

I will be doing something similar shortly. As i have a digi dash, i dont have the pleasures of pressure guages. I think i will do as suggested above... line them up on the top of the dash. Oil Press, Fuel Press, Volt, Vacuum.

Will you be keeping the heater box? (not much use if it aint a street car) If your taking it out, i'd mount the gauges in custom pods were the heater controls and vents are now. Just a suggestion. Otherwise i too think it's a bit clutterd. Once you clean up the wiring and that a little it might sway my opinion tho...

Its good to see that some people will make the effort to mod their car and take the chance of it working/looking good ..

If they do the job they are ment to and save you from killing a motor then good stuff and smart thinking ..

I reckon you should move the boost gauge so its more in your field of view, maybe swap it with the oil pressure. Boost is going to be the deciding factor on when you launch the sucker! Should definately get a trans temp gauge in there too.

Otherwise, kickass!

Thats one huge taco! beacuse its not a street car i guess you dont need the fuel level gauge. but it must be entertaining when you launch it as all the gauges must be moveing and flashing and making quite a light show!!!!

love to see the dash painted please post some pics up when your done!!
