if i was to put ED heads/rocket cover on my 3.9 Eb would it run better and more powerfull or it it just worth keeping the old ones as i can bore the 4.0 one too quite easily

3.9s only have one head and I wouldn't exactly call them rockets either.
Seriously, it wouldn't make much of a difference unless you were to get some work done to the replacement head.
