Default Tuning gas

Anyone got tips on tuning gas. I have an EL on duel fuel with a parnell system and it runs a little rough on gas. Can anyone remind me which knob does what and where to start.

Cheers and beers, Bob

Get it done by a licenced gas tech. I doubt you would have the equipment to analyse the mixture anyway.

I would have it done by a pro as they
are so complex, the centre screw adjusts
idle on gas carby & mixture screws are on
gas converter u will not get it right without
diagnostic equipment & have all sorts of
problems as they can freeze up all the way
up the line, very dangerous if u dont know what
u are doing.

The screw to adjust the idle jet on a parnel converter is the top one on the converter in the middle plate. THere is only one screw on those converters u can adjust. THe viallie converters look the same but have a set idle jet with no adjustment.
U can adjust that screw without causing any damage as it doesnt affec any thing else through the rev range. They are normaly a fair way in.
Mark the spot where it is now, and try a little in and then a little out, if it doesnt make a differnce, it may be other faults causing it to run rough.
Leaking inlet manifold gaskets are a common fault for running bad on gas but fine on fuel.

Thanks for the help. I have the idle screw for the converter on top on its own. What is the large screw on the hose going from the converter to intake for? I had a little fiddle with the large screw and it now idles heaps smoother. Thanks again!
