Default Tickford vs FPV badge

Im interested to know what you guys and girls will think. I had a thought to change the Tickford badge to an FPV badge. (Only because I think the FVP badge looks better.) They are the same thing as you all know but I didnt know if it was the right thing to do, as it wasnt made under the FPV name.

Thoughts please.........

I went the Tickford badge option, my car has nothing to do with FPV as far as I see it.

Be proud of your wings....Tickford is a special era in car manufacturing it is an important and essential part of Ford history (and you own a peice of that!), myself personally take extreme pride in my wings....
But hey, suit yourself, if thats what you like who am I to say otherwise......

Leave the wings alone. Fords performance revival was the result of Tickford.

Why would you want your car associated with FPV? :/

Although ive seen a capricorn blue eb getting around with an FPV badge on the rear garnish instead of the stock ford badge...looks hot

FPV - what an asbolute w*nk. May God dam the board members who decided to brush aside the image of an internationally respected engineering company such as Tickford for the crap we now know as FPV. FPV badges have no right to be on a BA/BF GT let alone an EF XR6..

My opinion is if you want the FPV look buy an FPV vehicle.

What's the old saying? "you can't make a silk purse from a sows ear".

Keep them original, not a copy, if it started as a tickford vehicle leave it that way.

That may be a bit harsh to FPV. They have done some great stuff and are far more successful than Tickford were.

You should change your ford badge for a holden one. After all it's just a badge. Doesn't matter that Holden didn't build your car, then it won't matter that FPV didn't make your car.

Who cares if the FPV badge looks prettier. Tickford enhanced you car. Leave the wings.

I don't think it had anything to do with FPV deciding on a name change. Taken from another thread

leave your ticky badges. get an fpv sticker or something if you'd like to display it on your car.

I'll go against the grain and say FPV,, now before you shoot me down... FPV (besides being a wing of Ford) is an acronym for Ford Performance Vehicles.. If from a grammatical point of view you consider your car is a performance Ford, throw a badge on it

When i picked up my ts50 i hadn't noticed that there was a fpv sticker at the bottom of the rear window, about the size of a 20cent piece. I have had the car two weeks and its still there. :
