Another way is to drill the studs out carefully, then once the wheel's off, get to the task of replacing your studs.
You dont happen to have the code of the security key, or know the manufacturer of them? you could probably get a replacement. |

Learn to spell and then go around to some tyre/mag wheel shops and see if they have the lock nut you need.

i accully had this probly today, i lost mine because i simly didnt have it in the car :P luckly it was at home
find urself a socket that will hit a nut into it, but u gotta make sure its not loose or nothng and very tight, VERY, get a hammer, and smash it on, then take ur socket wrench and take it off, just have a fun time gettin them out but its not hard id advise u throw them away, and destroy them with a bomb |

get a socket that is marginally smaller than the lock nut, bash it on with a hammer and simply undo as you normally would...with a bit of a luck the lock nut will be in tack but i doubt it, atleast you will get them off, had to do it on my mates VX he did and even dumber thing he had the lock nuts but through them out the window with his rubbish (dirty bugger) therefore lost them lol

Why don't you just take it to a tyre place and ask them to get it off for you. Or won't they do it? - thinking it's not your car and you're trying to steal the wheels LOL.

I tried a series of spare lock nu keys. Didn't work. Eventually I used a hammer, socked and rattlegun. Two small dings in the alloy and the nut was removed. Now I don't use lock nuts. They are more hassle then they are worth!

I agree that if they wan't them they'll have them, but I think that things like steering wheel locks, lock nuts etc deter the oppotunists.

Lock nuts are simply an encouragement to steal a whole car. I agree with EDXR6T throw them away.

if you have those pointy-multigrip tool try using that on the security nut ... put a lot of pressure to get a good grip... maybe use another tool to put the most amount pressure to get really good grip - put thin rag around the end of the pointy-multigrip so it doesn't scratch your rims

alright maybe another solution lol
![]() #1 find pipe to fit around sec. nut (to protect your rim ![]() #2 get your wheel brace and cut it up to get 1 bar (get get another bar to weld to the top so you have a leaver to undo nut with :P) #3 weld it to your wheel nut not gurantee this will work ![]() |

He said earler though that he cant get in there to weld anything though, bashing a socket on or multi-grips seems like the best bet here. |

Socket and a hammer works the best for sure.
