As some of you might know i have sold my EATurbo Ghia and i am thinking of doing a EA S pac with a BA Turbo Motor. The bloke who brought my EA has a AIT EA Spac with AIT Mod Plate for turbo engine. It is a complete car minus engine and gearbox. It is monza red with HO bonnet vents, Genuine XR8 Sprint wheels and XR Bobtail and Aftermarket XR Style round headlights. It was originally a 3 speed auto. It has a 3inch exhaust New peddars front shocks and springs, bilsteen rear shocks with lowered springs and it also has had a diff conversion to the later 28 spline axles and four pin centre with 3.23 ratio.The engine bay has been repainted. The young bloke was doing it up but brought mine instead. What do you think the EA is worth as a roller.

dam man thats gonna be an animal should be good. and id say maybe $2000 maybe more somewhere around there.

as i understand it, you might as well start out with a fresh car.... the mod plate wont be applicable for the BA turbo motor, it will only be for the original way the car was mod plated....
it will have to be inspected / plated anyway to get rego so why pay extra for a car just cos it already has a modplate....which could turn out to be useless for the combo you're planning... im not trying to be a downer here, but just pointing that out |

Malakia picked up an AIT Turbo EA Spak not that long ago for $2000 with engine and gearbox.
Having said that, it probably is worth $2000 without the engine and gearbox concidering the other stuff on it and it is an AIT at the end of the day. |
