Shutup. Sorry. Congrats, but I will never ever like the guy, he has done way to much damage to himself for me.

Good effort Danny, you should have gone for the tools fat head instead of the body shots though..

There were more people blowing greens trumpet for the last 5 years than mundine blowing his own so what ever funny crap mundine comes up with is going to realy rub it into all those disgruntled green meat heads. :

Mundine fought a brilliant fight, from the 2nd round he won every round till the end and dodged, weaved and blocked nearly everything that come at him. I was going for Green but he simply couldnt get anything through Mundine, but jeez he took some punishment back. Any normal bloke would of been stuffed after a few of those punches he took

Mundine showed just what a quality athlete he is, he was so fast and seemed to anticipate everything. He's still got a big mouth, but now the gloves to back it up. It was great to see them being good sports afterwards too

Also couldnt believe the barrage of punches John Hopate let go on his opponent.... down and out after 3 or 4 huge hits 45 secs into round 1

I remember watching the news before hand, mundine said a lot of things but the one that caught me was "I'm not arrogant". Who is he kidding?

As someone who knows bugger all about boxing, the way I see the whole event is simmilar to a non car enthusiest looking at a race between a standard FPV GT & a fully sick R34 Skyline.
After listening to the vehicles and the drivers, looking at styling and engines one would probably back the GT because it seemed "better" and "more Australian way of doing things" and less "ricerish" or "show ponyish".
After the GT lost the race it is probable that the choice would not change because although the race was lost the GT & Skyline are still exactly what they were before and the choice was not made because of the race.

Those who are very car oriented and have a lot of technical knowlege would probably disagree but I think most of the world would rather be happy than right.......

So here is a quote for someones sig:

"Mundine is to boxing what Skylines were to Bathurst, finishing first is not the only thing required to be accepted as a champion".

Ah well Kessler will be a happy man. Too bad it wasn't the old Danny Green, Fenech was spot on.

Danny should have been going for the knockout from the word go. Mundine's best shots didn't even seem to phase Danny what hope does he have against Kessler?

Does anyone know what the other flag that Mundine was carrying represented?

Not matter how well he fought, I just can't bring myself to like Mundine. I think there were a lot more people out there that wanted him bashed than those that would have been supporting him. He's just too mouthy - even for a boxer! You gotta have confidence but a little more humility would suit him better.

Happy to do so I - like many many others - was completely wrong.

Mundine outclassed him in every aspect of the fight. His speed was absolutely unbelievable, green just couldnt land 95% of the leather he was throwing.

Was a good fight tho.

I was very disappointed with the result - could see how it was gonna go down prob from the 2nd round. Half a slab of heiniken made the defeat a little more palatable. (Shhh - not so loud).

Anyone see the undercard fights? Lol - shockin'

I thoroughly enjoyed hoppa's bout... all 47 seconds of it lol. He's just a fist machine... kinda felt sorry for the poor guy that got thrown in the ring with him lol. I think he was in mundine's entourage as well...

I guess the opposition is safe when hoppas got that thumb tucked away in a pair of boxing gloves??

I am a Anthony fan always have been as I am a very big Rugby league fan as well.
Anthony was on his game and never left his objective in the fight .I am glad he won in such a dominate way as noone can make excusises for green .Green did well and should hold his head up high as it was one of the better boxxing matches I have seen .

As for people not liking the man because of his mouth I can understand as even I sometimes wish he would stop .Funny enough off screen he is a homble and quiet man .His job as he sees it is to promote himself his people and boxxing Australia to the world .
It was a sad day for me when he left Rugby league as he stood up for so much when he was there but congratulations to him and hope he shows the world how good a athlete he is .
