yeah they do but they are not always practicle as ive found out :P

the main issue is exhaust. if you can get that tucked up as high as possible then it pretty much all clears.

A spring made by King Springs, it helps lower the car to a certain point, superlows are a bit higher than Ultra lows, and you can get Lows, Super lows, Ultra lows and I think you can get raised springs too :S

yep; ultra high's haha

your better off looking at some pedders heavy duties for the rear though, much thicker coils equal a much better ride

How are pedders spring rated? Or are they as you said, 'heavy duty, light duty' ect?
Too late to change now anyway, Iv ordered them LOL. They dont cost to much anyway, so if i want to, i can just buy some for the rear.

the actual coils are just thicker, this means they absorb some more of the *** bouncing that you get compared to superlows which are a thinner coil, im not saying there bad, but thats my next suspension mod when i get around to it.

atm im running king superlows and there pretty comfy but are slightly up in the air compared to the front

the UL coils are thicker than the SL coils as i found out when i purchaced mine. rears anyway. if the coil is to thick it will be to harsh a ride.

just get ready and be in fit shape to change the springs to standard height once you get a canary

i got superlows stiff suspension... on 17" rims.. and it's too low.. well i think it's because the muffler isn't tucked away, not sure if i can get the muffler any higher.

Ultralows are going to give you (in my opinion) a highly impractical ride height, unless everywhere you go has no inclines or declines, and there are no driveways in your town :P

It will sit extremely low, and yes will be illegal. Now while i don't care much for ride height illegality, give or take a few cms, yours will stick out like a sore thumb. The minimum distance required between the lowest point on your car (the lowest component hanging down under your car, be it cat or whatever it may be) is 100mm, 10 cm, FULLY LOADED. While most cops only care about height with only driver in it, that's the actual law. I am getting low's put in the front of my xr on thurs, and superlows on the rear. just putting lows on the front will drop it to within a bees d1ck of the legal limit.. then you have superlow, super-superlow, then ultralow, so yours is going to be severely low. If you just use it as a show car then go nuts, but for every day use i wouldn't recommend it.

Either way do what you want ;p

Seriously i dont think he cares about legality lol.

Note the ULTRA in ultralows, it pretty much stands for ultra ridiculous low ride height.

On oneredEDs car which has superlows he is about 7-8cm off the ground at lowest point with a few mods to make it driveable.

1. Some exhaust modification is a must. You will have to bring it closer to the body and possibly do an under the diff setup. Or dump it before teh diff which is cheap n easy.

2. Suspension work. Your diff will probably hit the body on hard bumps. With low ride hide you need stiff spring rate to stop body rubbing. I dont know what KINGs are rated to but i would recomend at least 10 or better 12kg/mm at the front and at least 8 at the rear. Take away 2 front those figures for a compliant ride (if thats possible!).

You shocks will have a big impact on the ride and how low the car is. I would get some units with a high damper and rebound rating, falcons are heavy cars and need it. Go for Konis or something. Pedders is s h i t.

Swaybars are essential esp to stop your front wheels from rubbing. You will need to run a bit of negative camber to help avoid scrapage.

I would get the gaurds rolled while youre at it.

The pinion angle looked to me to be less than ideal. I remember someone making up a set of custom upper control arms for the rear to fix this and control the new susp geometry better.

And most importantly, youre car will look unreal with some dish. Get some deep dish rims!!!!

Goddamn, thats a s h i t load of work right there!

I've got "Lows" in my EL, as it sits with a full tank of fuel and no passengers there is 13cm's clearence between the cat and the ground. When i get 5 people in the car it sits about 9m's off the ground and its lowest point which is illeagle.

Lows give the car that un-stock look but still alow the car to be driven without having to snake over speedhumps and even avoid some driveways.

super superlows=ultra lows... ultra lows is what people seem to call them but they are actually called super superlows.. Ive got them have fun with ur tailshaft bottoming out when you floor it.. When i drive normally i dont experience and problems with them and i live in a speed hump area. However, i have retained superlows in the front maybe thats why its a tad higher then usual.

When i got my 2.5 inch exhaust put on, i told them to tuck in as close to the body as possible, so thats done. Guards are already rolled. 'EDXR6T', i do have customs, LOL but though, why not hehehe. And all in all. If i dont like them, i know a few people who will buy them off me anyway, so its a win win situation. New shocks mite be on the list tho......

Yea legality doesnt really bother me. If some of the bloody VLs and VNs that drive around Mildura get away with being to low, i wont have a problem with cops (i hope :Reverend: )

Dish rims in my opinion only look good on big diameter, and thats not coming till later LOL.

also, your tailshaft is going to make sweet love to the floor many times... especially launching, and mine used to hit on hard shifts...

Thats weird, I dont seem to have that problem thankfully, and mine sometimes rides on the bumpstops the whole time with 2 or more averaged sized people in the back depending on fuel. Where abouts was yours hitting the tunnel? I have checked mine for marks, but there arent any as yet.

T_Terror is correct in saying that if you tuck up the exhaust, drivability isnt bad. I have had to run a rather large amount negative camber on the front to clear the front quarters, and roll the guards also (but you've done that already).

And also, get some fatarse swaybars too, the body roll if you corner very hard can lead to guard scrapage on the outer side of the car...

Your car wont always look ridiculously dropped on ultra lows. I have them in my car and it still isn't low enough for what I would ultimately like.
