Default Sydney people

Hi all,

My mates and I are looking on heading on a trip upto sydney for a couple of days during December.

What I would like to know are some good places in Sydney to stay, and also the good places to go, during the day and at night. Keep in mind it will be a group of 21 year olds who absolutely love clubbing and women :.

Thank you all very much for your time and help
Bill

Most of the clubs are on George Street. Might want to go to the Rocks as there are some good places there too.

darling harbour there is heaps of clubs havent been clubbing in a while though but its always hard to get into club especially a group of guys.
most clubs are: no girls no entry. very silly so you take your girlfriend with you and play swaps inside the club :|

be prepared for getting let down from entering a club but dont get upset by it and dont try to brawl the bouncers.
theres a decent fairly cheap hotel in edgecliffe thats close to the city. otherwise anywhere in the city is fine depending on how much money you spend.

there are lots of clubs on george st and pit st. theres a place that does 2.50 drinks before 930 or something forgot the name of it though its on george st on the corner of an alley you go upstairs its next to a foot locker. if your not in a clubs queue by 10 though chances get slim. after 12 basically no chance of getting in.
dont over dress dont under dress and dont act like idiots in the line and youll be right

In the city there are heaps of clubs in almost walking distance of each other, from darling harbour to the rocks..
If you get out into the burbs there are quite a few full of of ganga's
a couple that come to mind are, the castle hill tavern, the mean fiddler both in the north west, and the block at penrith is a meat market..

HAHA love it, and its soo true.. I go down to the Fiddler and Tav a fair bit.. :monkes:
In parramatta you have One World and Rocksies.. (Full of sleezy wogs though) :
In town, Home nightclub/Sublime, Chinese laundry, Diamond bar, Hugo's, Ravesis, World Bar, The Basement, Cargo Bar, The Cave, Gas Nightclub.. they are all pretty decent, and umm easy pick up places?

You also have the Off street drags every wednesday night at WSID.. worth a look.. and if your into the more street scene Krispy Kremes in Penrith on thursday around 10pm..and Krispy Kremes in Liverpool saturday night around 11pm also both places are full of car sluts.. (excuse the term, but its true)

Yeah I dont go to Parra anymore since I cracked some lebo in the head for spiking a girls drink.. Parra's a pretty hopeless place anyway.

I go down to Liverpool everynow and then, but Penrith is where I go.. Its more fun I think..
They are getting into the drifting side of it now, away from illegal street racing to drifting in the industrial areas lol.

I live in Parra and it's not that scary.

The Roxy is pretty good for a "west" venue. The Albion has the thursday night Blink night club if you're into metal.

I'd still prefer to go clubbing in the city. Sublime @ Home, Hotel Chambers (salsa night and hot wogs lol), Arthouse, GAS, the breaks night at the Hunter is meant to be good too.

Fri night at Privledge (opp 388 george st) has $3 spirits(+cheap beer) til 9pm. The venue and crowd generally sucks, but for drinks that price who cares.

What do you listen to and that'll help determine where to go.

So back on thread lol, Bill, if you dont want any trouble from the local fullee's i'd steer clear of Parramatta..
The bogans out west are pretty harmless, they do talk tough alot though..
In the city you get a bit of both.. you can tell who's who though, the bogans do laps around oxford and george, and the wog's are stabbing eachother.. steer clear of that and find the 'normalish' people around, you'll have a good time.

Geez Sydneys a great place..
Let us know when your up, we can probably organise a night out with a fair few AFF members.. Id be up for it.

Hi all,

Thank you very much for your replies. None of the women will be joing us on this trip, as last time there were more headaches, and huge restrictions of what we could and couldn't do. This will be purely the boys, with a lot of stories to come out of it(nothing which will make our women wanna break up with us).

We are planning on being in sydney on friday 15th of december and leaving on tuesday 19th of december, and then head down to mallacouta, since one of the boys has a house there, and is a very nice place to go and relax.

We are all into house music, especially chill out house. Hopefully this will narrow down the places to go out at night. We do want to steer clear of trouble. We are not the type of guys to go out and get into fights. But we do enjoy smooth talking our ways into womens hearts . Also whats the night life like on a sunday night?

I am the only ford boy out of the group, and have planned for my cousin to spray it during the period which I won't be there. But I still wouldn't mind meeting up with people for drinks.

But this confirms it now that we will definetly be heading up. Now that we have a general idea on what is available in sydney, just makes me all the more want to come up and visit.

Thank you all very much for your replies.
Bill

Teapot at World Bar.. $15 bucks..Mainly Midori.. get about 7-8 shots from one of them.. get you hammered pretty quickly.

Other then that, you get $15 cocktails.. the worst thing with clubs in syd, is that they are bloody expensive for drinks.. like $12 for a redbull and vodka, $9 for a Jimbeam and coke.. etc etc..

The Gaelic Club...

thats in devonshire st. at surry hills, just near central

ANYWAY, youll find that the Gaelic club is a CONCERT venue type deal, and there are LOTS of METAL concerts there :

for example a couple of weeks ago, i saw Kreator there, in a month, im gonna see Cannibal Corpse there. plus ive seen a bunch of local bands there etc etc...

The chemist, my brother is a dealer at Star City. He can deal anygame there. Not allowed tips and is harder to pick up woman compared to playing.

I dont like clubbing, but prefer to go to a pub.

Another good pub is the Pymont Hotel near Star City. An old fashioned pub, where you sit around the bar in the middle of the room. Just like the bar in Cheers. Also buy 1 drink get 1 free when the Wallabies or Waratahs play.

My pick is "Sounds on Sunday at The Greenwood" ... I was a regular there ... especially after the entire night at "Home" ... Actually it was be a case of Home all night ... then rock back to a mates joint ... party on ... then down to the Greenwood for the rest of Sunday .... the best weekends ever.

Damn I miss those weekends.

Grog isn't really an issue. One of the guys has a friend whos parentsw own a bottle shop. She from what we gather wants him really hard, so she has been giving him free bottles of grog. We have enough to last us a month :. We are preserving it for the time we are holidaying.
