Default Lowering my car

hello
my NA fairlane is about to get some new wheels so im looking to lower it. i went around to a few places and called a few. the prices range from $400 to $1700. i also have to worry bout the rear sls
pedders was $1300 with new struts shocks wheel alignment
i also had the option of going with their sporstryder extreme x struts for the front which height adjustable and that would cost $1700
carline wanted $900 with shocks and alignment
midas $1000
a few places i called said $400 or $600 and other different ones.
question is what is the quality differences. is it worth goin the pedders adjustable front, as i saw there falcon ute there that was pretty nice. carline seem to do good work too.
is it worth spending more
cheers

Fit Bilsteins to front. They have adjustable circlip where the spring holder fits . I found my car sat heaps lower when I fitted them all round...Compared to Pedders which are basically std shocks IMO "nothing special"...If you lower car the shocks need to be much firmer to compensate for less travel...
Check around there are adjustable height shocks- suspension around also...

In same situation as u. Just went to Repco and bought king superlows and front and rear monroe sensatrac shocks cost me $600 just bought some wheels and they are going to fit the wheels and the springs/shocks. charging $250 for the suspension installation so all up thats about $850 for a properly installed lowering kit I find that purchasing stuff yourself then just paying for labour generally works out cheaper. $1900 for 18" wheels and superlow ride height seems like a great deal to me, expected to pay $25000 plus. Good luck

Yeah definitely something you can DIY so do a bit of research and you should save a huge amount on labour.
